Dealer Gets Blackjack
If the player has a natural and the dealer does not have a 10 or ace, the player gets paid right away. Odds can be 3:2 or 6:5. Dealer will check their hole card if they have either a 10 or an ace up. If they have a blackjack that hand is over and everyone loses, unless player also has a blackjack.

Objective
Playing blackjack is easy once you know the rules! All you have to do is beat the dealer by having a higher card total without going over 21.
Card Values
2 to 10 - Face value
J, Q, K - 10
Ace - 1 or 11
Definitions
Blackjack - An Ace and a card worth 10 points (21 total)
Hole - The dealer's card that is face down
Double - Double your bet for one additional card (also known as 'Doubling Down')
Hit - Draw another card
Stand - Take no more cards
Bust - Going over 21
Insurance - Wager half your original bet to protect against the dealer having blackjack
Split - Match your initial bet to split your hand into two separate hands
Push - Dealer's hand and player's hand are equal
How to Play
To start playing, just click on the 'Deal Me In!' button on the homepage or Prizes! page after logging in.
Tap on the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust your bet amount and then tap on the 'Deal' button to start.
The dealer then deals two cards face up to the player. The dealer receives one card face up and one face down.
The player then chooses to Hit, Stand or Double.
Tap the 'Double' button if you want to double your bet in exchange for only one additional card. You can only do this/her upon receiving your first two cards and doing so will end your turn.
Tap the 'Hit' button if you want additional cards. Continue until you desire no more cards.
If you don't want any additional cards (or are finished 'hitting'), tap the 'Stand' button.
Once you have finished your turn, the dealer reveals his/her hole card and hits or stands as appropriate.
The dealer must hit until his/her card total is at least 17.
Base your decisions on the assumption that the dealer has a card worth 10 points in the hole.
Payouts are issued based on the outcome.
Splitting
If you receive two cards of the same number, you can split them into two separate hands by matching your initial bet. Do this/her by tapping 'Yes' when prompted to Split. The dealer will separate your cards and give you an additional card to make each one a complete hand by itself. You will then play each hand separately as you normally would.
Not having enough tokens to match your initial bet may prevent you from splitting but you can always get more tokens by clicking the 'Free Tokens' button at the top of the screen!
Insurance
If the dealer's face up card is an ace, he will offer players the option of buying insurance. If you choose to do so, you can then add an additional wager of half your original bet that the dealer does have Blackjack. If he does, your insurance is paid back 2 to 1, causing you to break even for the hand. If he does not have Blackjack, you lose your insurance and the hand continues.
Winning
If your total is higher than the dealer's without going over 21(or if the dealer busts), you win.
Payouts
If you get Blackjack, the dealer pays you 3 to 2.
If you and the dealer both get Blackjack, it is a push and no chips are given or taken away.
If you have a higher total than the dealer (or the dealer busts), the dealer matches the amount of your chips.
If you have a lower total than the dealer (or you bust), the dealer takes your chips.
Dealer Gets Blackjack Card Game
If the dealer gets blackjack, all players lose other than those with blackjack. If both the dealer and a player have blackjack, this is considered a draw, and the player gets their bet back. If a player has blackjack and the dealer does not, the player wins and gets a 3:2 payout on their bet. See full list on gamblingsites.org.
If the dealer has 17 points off the deal without an Ace, most blackjack rules say the dealer will stand, even if a 21 player has a higher total. The dealer also might have a soft 17 hand, which is one that includes an Ace and any other cards whose combined value totals six points. At the start of a Blackjack game, the players and the dealer receive two cards each. The players' cards are normally dealt face up, while the dealer has one face down (called the hole card) and one face up. The best possible Blackjack hand is an opening deal of an ace with any ten-point card.

Introduction
Live dealer blackjack rules vary quite a bit. All are dealt from a shoe, with about 50% penetration. I think nobody allows re-splitting any pair. In other words, one split only. Most stand on a soft 17. The most variable rules seem to be on surrender and the dealer peeking for blackjack.
Special mention should be made about the Ezugi game, where early surrender against an ace is allowed. The effect of this rule variation is a reduction in the house edge of 0.39% to a low 0.11%. Personally, I think they don't understand what they are doing and this rule won't last once they realize how beneficial it is to the player.
It is difficult writing live dealer software reviews when I don't have access to play or watch the games. This was the case with Ho Gaming and Vivo Gaming.
As to the appearance of the table and dealer, please refer to the screenshots at the bottom of the page, especially for Usoft.

Column headings:
- Brand: Live dealer studio and in some cases the particular game.
- Decks: Number of decks used. Penetration tends to be about 50% everywhere.
- Soft 17: What the dealer does with a soft 17.
- DAS: Is double after a split allowed?
- Peek: Does the dealer peek at hole card for a blackjack. In cases where there isn't a hole card, the value in the table indicates if the player will lose his original bet only (yes) or everything (no) if the dealer eventually gets a blackjack. Sometimes the dealer will peek only under 10 or under an ace. Possible values are:
- Yes = Dealer always peeks with either a 10 or ace up.
- No = Dealer never peeks. Player will lose all money bet doubling and splitting if the dealer gets a blackjack
- Ace only = Dealer peeks only under an ace up. If no hole card is taken, 'ace only' means the player will lose his original bet only if the dealer gets a blackjack starting with an ace up, but everything if starting with a 10 up.
- 10 only = Dealer peeks only under a 10 up. If no hole card is taken, '10 only' means the player will lose his original bet only if the dealer gets a blackjack starting with a 10 up, but everything if starting with an ace up.
- Surrender = Can player forfeit half his bet and not play the hand? This option is generally offered only after the dealer peeks for blackjack, but in the Ezugi regular game (as opposed to unlimited), the player may surrender before the dealer peeks.
- Edge = House edge
